Arrival
Upon arrival at Livingstone Airport in Zambia, you will be met by a representative and transported to Thorntree River Lodge via a short 25-minute road transfer.
You’ll arrive at the lodge mid-afternoon, just in time for high tea, followed by a welcoming sunset cruise and dinner on the water.
Victoria Falls
Start your day with breakfast on the deck, overlooking the Zambezi River. Choose from a wide variety of internal and external activities offered, which can be arranged directly with your general manager or host at Thorntree River Lodge.
Activities included in your stay: a trip to Victoria Falls, a rhino walk experience, canoe trips, catch and release fishing, a Simonga village visit, and so much more.
Atzaró Okavango Camp
After breakfast, you will be collected for a scheduled road transfer to the Kasane Airport in Botswana. This one-hour road transfer will include border crossing and immigration procedures which can take an additional 30-45 minutes.
At Kasane Airport you will be met by a friendly representative from Mack Air who will escort you to your next transfer, a one-hour fixed-wing flight to Maun International Airport, followed by a helicopter transfer straight to the Atzaró Okavango Camp in only 20 minutes. Enjoy the eternal beauty and thriving life of the Okavango Delta waterways as you experience the African wilderness from the sky.
Arrive at camp mid-afternoon, just in time for high tea, followed by your first evening game drive and a sunset cocktail. Atzaró’s cuisine is renowned for its culinary standards, with dinner following, infused with a flair of local flavours that heighten the senses when merged with the symphony of the African night.
The Ultimate Safari
Each day in camp will begin with a wake-up call at 5:30 AM, followed by an early morning game drive. For the rest of the day, choose from a variety of daily activities outlined below; such as safari walks, mokoro adventures, and community visits.
You can choose to spend your day at the gym, yoga shala, wine tasting at our Cape-inspired cellar and tasting room, at the Wellness Sanctuary or simply relaxing beside the swimming pool.
Bookend each day with mouthwatering cuisine, served to you around the camp, in your suite, or under the African sky, surrounded by the resonating sounds of nature.
Maun to Cape Town
Enjoy a final early morning game drive on your last day in Botswana or simply sleep in and enjoy a late breakfast. At around 11:00 AM you will be heading back to Maun Airport via helicopter from where you will travel to Cape Town on a short 2-hour flight.
Upon arrival at Cape Town International Airport, you can arrange to be collected and transferred to Atzaró Cape Town. Spend the late afternoon and evening settling in. For dinner, you have the option to stay in at Atzaró Cape Town or enjoy a delectable dinner in town.
Recuperate and start your next day feeling refreshed and ready for your Cape Town adventure.
The Mother City
Start every day with a delicious breakfast buffet in the comfort of your own holiday home followed by any Cape Town adventure according to your preference. Choose from a great list of activities such as a trip up Table Mountain, kayaking with seals, shark cage diving, a variety of day trips, hiking Lions Head, visiting the V&A Waterfront, etc. These activities can all be pre-booked with your Atzaró Cape Town General Manager.
Another option would be to simply enjoy a day of leisure – chilling at the pool or enjoying an in-house spa treatment.
In the evening you can choose to have dinner at Atzaró Cape Town, or enjoy a dining experience out on the town – choose from a wide variety of top restaurants offered which can be pre-booked by the General Manager.
Departure
Enjoy a final early morning breakfast buffet and savouring the city views. An airport shuttle can be arranged to collect you at Atzaró Cape Town to transfer you to Cape Town International Airport depending on the time of your departure flight back home.
